Designed for Low Temperature and Sour Service Applications

The base material ASTM A350 LF2 Class 1 is widely used for low temperature service due to its impact toughness and mechanical reliability. Combined with Alloy 625 weld overlay, the cladded spade blind offers enhanced resistance to:

  • Sulfide stress cracking (SSC)
  • Pitting and crevice corrosion
  • Chloride-induced corrosion
  • Harsh offshore environments

Because this Alloy 625 cladded line blind for sour service complies with NACE MR0175, it is suitable for oil and gas systems where hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is present.

Through Bolted RTJ Spade Blind – Reliable Isolation Solution

The supplied unit is a through bolted spade line blind with RTJ facing, designed for positive isolation in high-pressure piping systems. Compared with standard paddle blinds, the through bolted design provides:

  • Higher structural stability
  • Reliable sealing performance under Class 900 pressure
  • Improved safety during maintenance operations

The ASME B16.48 Class 900 RTJ spade blind is typically used in offshore platforms, refineries, and petrochemical plants where safe line isolation is critical.

Strict Manufacturing and Quality Control

For this Kazakhstan project, Haihao Group implemented comprehensive quality procedures, including:

  • Material certification verification (LF2 + Alloy 625)
  • Weld overlay thickness inspection (3 mm minimum)
  • RTJ groove machining inspection
  • Dimensional and pressure class verification
  • Marking and export packing according to project requirements

The products were packed and marked for delivery to the designated offshore supply base, ensuring full traceability and safe international transportation.
