Inconel 625 WN Flange ASME B16.5 Shipped to UAE for NACE Sour Service

Haihao Group has completed production and shipment of custom welding neck flanges for a UAE-based oil and gas operator. This batch of Inconel 625 WN flange ASME B16.5 is manufactured strictly against customer drawings, covering both RF and RTJ face types for demanding sour service conditions.

These Inconel 625 WN flange ASME B16.5 are sized 1/2 inch, Class 1500, SCH80S, forged to ASTM B564 UNS N06625. As GR-1 grade material, the alloy meets full NACE requirements, making it suitable for harsh corrosive environments common in Middle East upstream facilities. What sets this Inconel 625 WN flange ASME B16.5 apart is the comprehensive corrosion test package specified by the project.

Beyond routine chemical analysis and hardness checks, each lot undergoes IGC testing following ASTM G28 Method A. The test runs at 120°C over 120 hours. Under 50× magnification, examiners confirm no preferential grain boundary attack. The allowable maximum weight loss is capped at 36 mpy, equivalent to 0.914 mm per year. A minimum hardness of 210 BHN is mandatory, and a dedicated test coupon is supplied alongside the flanges for client verification.

We coordinated our QA team to lock in inspection sequences well ahead of delivery. Material certificates, hardness logs, IGC test reports and visual inspection records are bundled together. Every Inconel 625 WN flange ASME B16.5 is marked clearly for full traceability, supporting third-party inspection as required by the UAE project.

Many sour service projects in the Gulf region struggle to source alloy flanges that can pass rigorous ASTM G28-A intergranular corrosion testing. We are familiar with these tight acceptance limits and can arrange the full test matrix for UNS N06625 and other nickel alloys. If you need drawing-based WN flanges with custom IGC and NACE compliance, send your specification to our engineering team for a formal quote.
