Modular Operation of the Arctic 2 Project
Both Yamal and Arctic 2 projects are built in a modular manner, which involves first building various modules of LNG facilities in areas with good conditions, and then shipping them to the project site for assembly, thereby improving the construction speed and greatly reducing the time required for construction in the harsh natural environment of the Arctic.
In the project, China National Petroleum Corporation holds a 10% stake, and Haihao Group, as one of the reserve suppliers of PetroChina, has previously participated in the supply of the flange part of the project. In order to meet the use requirements of flanges in ultra-low temperature environments, Haihao Group has made comprehensive improvements in production raw materials, production processes, heat treatment processes, and other aspects, and finally successfully completed the supply task of the project. The customer was very satisfied with this cooperation and indicated their intention to cooperate in the future.
After eight months of downtime, the Arctic 2 project received news of a restart. After receiving the news, the customer found Haihao Group again and conducted technical communication with Haihao regarding the products needed in the later stage of the project. In order to match the modular construction method of the project, more prefabricated products will be involved in subsequent orders. As a professional manufacturer of pipeline supporting products, Haihao has rich experience in prefabrication. In the subsequent cooperation, Haihao will fully exert its own strength and actively cooperate with the project to complete the supply task of the pipeline part.
