Haihao Group Delivers Low Temperature Carbon Steel Flanges & Spectacle Blinds to Russian Energy Project

Haihao Group has finished manufacturing and dispatched a full package of low-temperature pipe flanges and line blinds for a pipeline project client in Russia. This order covers multiple flange types including slip-on flanges, welding neck flanges, blind flanges with NPT tapped holes, spectacle blinds and spade blinds, built to strict low temperature and sour service requirements.

The ASTM A350 LF2 Class1 flange forms the core of this shipment. The ASTM A350 LF2 Class1 flange is engineered for low-temperature piping service, with strict chemical limits: carbon ≤0.23% and carbon equivalent CE ≤0.43. Each ASTM A350 LF2 Class1 flange must pass -46°C impact testing and magnetic particle inspection, suitable for sour hydrocarbon environments. The ASTM A350 LF2 Class1 flange follows ASME B16.5, available in multiple pressure classes CL150, CL300 and CL900, ranging from DN25 up to DN500. The ASTM A350 LF2 Class1 flange package also includes blind flanges with centre NPT drilled and tapped holes, a special custom feature requested by the end user.

For spectacle blinds, the project specified ASTM A516 Gr60 spectacle blind complying with ASME B16.48. This A516 Gr60 spectacle blind is designed for sour and low temperature service, with carbon ≤0.23%, -46°C impact test, HIC and SSC testing to meet NACE MR0175. The order also includes ASTM A285 Gr.C spade blinds for line isolation. All spectacle and spade blinds adopt FF face and follow DEP standard drawings plus MESC SPE specifications.

All components are supplied with full documentation packages, including EN 10204 3.1 / ISO 10474 3.1B material test certificates, NACE compliance documents and CU TR certification required for Russian market import. Our QA team verifies each batch to satisfy MESC SPE requirements, covering material chemistry, mechanical properties and non-destructive tests.
