A105 RF BLIND FLANGE

Followings are the definition, information and application of  various types of flanges:

A blind flange looks like a plate with bolts holes around. There is no inner hole on the blind flange comparing to other type flanges, so the blind flange is used to close the end of a vessel or piping system. Blind flange also be used for pressure testing for prevent the liquid or air flow.

Sealing Face of Blind Flange:

The blind flange could be supplied with flat face (FF), raised face(RF) or ring joint face(RTJ). The RTJ type face blind flange is used for high pressure application, the matched flange also should be RTJ face.
