Haihao Group Ships ASME B16.5 and B16.48 Flange Package for Russian Low-Temp Pipeline Project
Haihao Group has completed fabrication and shipment of ASME B16.5 flange and spectacle blind assembly for a Russian industrial pipeline project. This combined set includes weld neck RF flanges, blind RF flanges and figure 8 blinds, tailored to withstand low-temperature operating conditions common across Russian piping infrastructure.

The ASME B16.5 flange batch covers WN RF and blind RF variants. 09G2S weld neck flanges in multiple sizes and pressure classes form the primary carbon steel group, paired with alloy blind flanges made of ASTM A182 F316/316L and A182 F11. The A182 F316/316L blind flange receives full heat treatment and IGC testing to guarantee intergranular corrosion resistance for corrosive media service.
Our ASME B16.5 flange package is matched with ASME B16.48 figure 8 blinds. These spectacle blinds come with FF and RTJ sealing faces, ranging from 1/2 inch up to 14 inch, pressure classes CL150, CL300, CL600 and CL1500. Material options include ASTM A516 Gr.70 and A387 Gr.11 Cl.2, engineered for reliable pipeline isolation during maintenance and system shutdowns.
Strict impact toughness criteria is enforced for this shipment. Material test records confirm KCV value minimum 27 J/cm² at -52℃ for carbon steel components, while ASTM A182 F11 meets 27 J/cm² KCV at -20℃. Every ASME B16.5 flange and figure 8 blind undergoes dimensional inspection, material verification and required mechanical testing before packaging. Full mill certificates, heat treatment documents and impact test reports are bundled with the cargo for the Russian engineering team’s site review.
